The Practice Schedule has been updated for this week. Please check it to make sure you know what time to be at the pool on Wednesday.
Practice on Friday is cancelled due to the US Club Championships being held in Santa Barbara. Athletes are encouraged to go watch games at one of the three high schools in the area. This would be a great opportunity for new players (and their families) to see the game played at a high level. The schedule is posted at http://www.usclubchampionships.com.
We will not be attending the East Tournament this weekend due to low availability.

The Practice Schedule for this week has been updated. Please remember that conditioning practices have been moved to 6:00-8:00 am. It is crucial that the athletes attend these conditioning practices. I think that we got some very good experience this weekend at the AG Summer Kickoff and the Sunday Scrimmage at San Marcos. Thanks to all the boys for attending and the parents for supporting.
I’m not sure what we will be doing this Wednesday for the scrimmage. We were supposed to go to Cabrillo, but I can’t get a hold of their coach so we may do another round of intrasquad/alumni scrimmages. The scrimmages after this week are all confirmed.

I’m looking forward to getting started on our summer session tomorrow morning. The practice schedule has been updated for next week. I have also posted the tournament schedule for next Saturday at Arroyo Grande under the Game/Meet Schedules tab.
Please sign up for US Water Polo immediately if you haven’t already. I need to send a verified roster to the AG coach this week. The roster verification process requires that the athletes are registered USWP members. You can sign up as a Silver Athlete which will save a little bit of money.
Schedule Changes – I had a scrimmage listed as TBA on Wednesday night from 6:00-8:00. I don’t have a team coming in this week, so we will have an intrasquad scrimmage from 6:00-7:00 and a parent meeting at 7:00 on the pool deck. Please plan on attending. This would be a great time to ask any questions you may have and to turn in the summer paperwork. I also am trying to set up scrimmages similar to last Saturday this coming Sunday 6/14.
Driver(s) for AG this weekend – If you are able to drive this Saturday please let me know asap. We will be leaving early Saturday morning and returning early evening Saturday night.
I have also updated the Parent Corner tab with some of the things that I am going to need help with this summer and next season. Please look over the job list and see what you will be able to help with.

San Marcos summer water polo begins June 8th. Below is a list of items that need to be completed in order to participate in the summer program.
- Download practice and game calendars for June and July.
- Read the summer information sheet and fill out the tournament availability.
- Make your payment of $280.
- Register for US Water Polo. Go to www.uswp.org and follow the Join Now link.
